Add doorways and windows
- [Instructor] We've extruded the walls, and now we need to add doorway headers and windowsills. There are a few ways to do this, to create openings for doors and windows in our space. The first way is to draw a line across our wall thickness, and then push pull it across to create a header. So, let's go ahead and measure that out. We're going to use our tape measure tool, t for tape, and I'm going to use a guide point instead of a guideline. To do that, I'm going to hover over the end point here, click and release, and move my cursor upwards. I'm going to create a 6'8 header. So 6'8, Enter. And now I have a small guide point right here at 6'8. Now I can draw a line. l for line. Click and release. Move straight across that green axis.
