Align view to face

- [Instructor] When adjusting our view in SketchUp, it can be helpful to align our view directly with a face. This can make for an interesting scene and edges that appear to be smoother when they are aligned with the camera. To do that with this kitchen, I will select a face to align my camera to, double click into that group, right click on the face, and choose Align View. If I want to be certain that my view stays aligned while zooming, I can use the Zoom tool here and then click and drag outward and inward. This is different than using your scroll wheel or your track pad to zoom. It's more like putting a camera on a track that moves in and out, but keep the center intact. The only downside to aligning your view with a face is that you can't right click to align your view from outside of a group.
