Apply material using Windows
- [Instructor] Applying materials on a Windows machine is going to look a little bit different on a Mac. So if you're using a Mac, feel free to skip to the next video, but Windows users, let's add some color and texture to this model. First up, we need to access the Materials window, which is in our Default Tray. If I hover over my Default Tray, click the pin to leave it open, I can see that Materials is not listed here yet so I need to add it. So I'm going to go to Window, Default Tray, and click Materials. And now, I have access to my materials. So, here's a list of folders of available materials within SketchUp. I'm going to use my dropdown menu, and I can see the same options here. If I click on the Home button, this is showing me the colors and textures inside of your model. So, it's empty right now, because we haven't applied anything to our model.
