Check axis alignment

- [Instructor] When drawing in SketchUp, it's really important to keep our edges aligned with the global axis when it's appropriate. For example, in this kitchen, we have lots of right angles, and when drawn, they should align with the red, green, or blue axis. If they aren't aligned, this will cause issues in editing later, so it's important to check the alignment of your geometry throughout the modeling process. To do this, I'll look at the styles window. This is under Window, Styles, or you can find it in your default tray on a Windows machine. The edit tab will allow me to edit the edges with this first wire frame looking icon. Towards the bottom, I can see an option called color by. When I click the drop-down menu, I can choose by axis. Now, all of the edges that are aligned with the axes are highlighted in the color with their corresponding axis. I'll scan my model for any remaining black edges. If there are any…
