Create walls based on a sketch

- [Instructor] We're going to create the walls immediately surrounding the kitchen in this video. Open Sketch.skp to follow along. Because the sketch wasn't drawn to scale, I don't recommend trying to trace directly on top of it, that would be confusing. Instead, our approach will be to pan the sketch over to the side so that we can use it for reference. And then we'll draw in our 3D walls over here somewhere. Press L for the line tool, and let's begin by drawing a line segment down here on the bottom. So I'll click a point over here to correspond with that, and then I'm going to position the cursor along the red axis and click another point, just eyeballing the distance. There's no dimension given, so that's okay. Now, I'd like to start drawing the vertical part of the wall. It goes up eight inches, so I need to position the cursor over here along the green axis and type eight, enter. Observe that I don't have to type the inch symbol.
