Creating cabinet moldings
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to add moldings to the top of the upper cabinets. Open the Kitchen 9 file, and zoom in over here. We'll start by making a sketch of the molding's cross section. Draw a line from this corner up in the blue direction. Type 2 Enter. Move the cursor over in the red direction and type 2 Enter, and then click back at the initial point to create a triangle. Now, this cross section is fairly simple at this point. It's just a beveled edge. We can add a lot of interest to this by adding a couple of segments here. I'll draw a line up at some arbitrary point on the face, and click another point over here and a final point at the end point there. Then I'll press the Space bar, select this edge, and press the Delete key. Now that we have three segments here, this will add more interest to the molding. Now that we have a cross section, I can double click it and copy it to the clip board by pressing Command C or Ctrl C in Windows. Then I'll press Command V or…
