Creating copies more efficiently

- [Instructor] The copy and paste function in SketchUp works a lot like the copy and paste function of other softwares. We can select something and go to Edit, Copy and then Edit, Paste or use the corresponding keyboard shortcuts. However, in SketchUp, there is a much more efficient way to make copies and it also gives us the added capability of creating multiple copies equally spaced. This is helpful for tasks like creating copies of a chair at a countertop, like this one. To do this, I like to preselect what I'm going to make a copy of. So I've already selected this chair, the bounding box is blue. Then activate the move tool. M for move. And in the lower left-hand corner, I can see some clues and they let me what I can do with this tool. I'm on a Mac so I can see that it says Option equals copy. If you're on a Windows machine, it's going to say Control equals copy. So I can tap the Option key and see that…
