Design additional materials and adjust the texture position
- [Instructor] Now that we have geometry to support new textures, it's time to create those textures. Go to the paint bucket tool, go to colors in model by clicking the home symbol if you're not there already, and then right-click in the area here and choose new texture. Select the floor tile JPEG, open, and okay to accept the default size. Select that texture and then click right here to assign that to the kitchen floor. I'll close the colors window. Now let's take a closer look. Now these tiles appear to be too large, and I'd actually like to rotate them so that they're at a 45 degree angle, to go along with the orientation of the island. To do so, I can right-click on the surface and go to texture, position. This takes us into a special mode where we have these colorful pins, each pin has a different function. The red pin allows you to move the texture relative to the geometry. So for example, I could snap that here onto the corner so that we have a whole tile beginning at this…
