Detail the upper cabinets
- [Instructor] We can add detail to the upper cabinets in much the same way as we have for the base cabinets. However, I'd like to make everything match up, as above, so below. In other words, I want there to be a vertical division one foot over, up here. So what I could do is double click on that, select this edge, and move it over, and then press the option key on the Mac, or control key in Windows, and type in one foot enter. (clicking) So I've copied that edge over. An alternative approach is to copy the edges up. So, I can do that in this way, I can go into the base cabinet and open it, I can then select these two edges. I'll hold the shift key to get them both. And then copy those edges to the clipboard. Close the group, press v to paste those edges in place, that means they're in the same location as they were before, but now they're not inside the group. I can then move them up.
