Detailing upper cabinets
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to detail the upper cabinets. Open the Kitchen 8 exercise file. To save time I'd like to transfer some of the width information that we have in the lower cabinet, onto the upper cabinets. So double click on this lower cabinet, and then click on this outer edge, hold the SHIFT key down, and select this edge, this edge and this edge, press COMMAND+C or CONTROL+C on Windows, press Y to close the group and then press V to paste those edges in place. Press M for the move tool, move these edges up from the end point here and place them on the top of the upper cabinets. Double click on the upper cabinet to open it for editing. If you don't see the rest of the model, you may have to press N until you do, like this. Now I can draw a line and snap to the end point that's outside the active group. I can draw a line down, and in this fashion, I can transfer the measurements from the lower cabinets to the upper. I'll press Y to close the group, and then…
