- [Instructor] To learn how to divide edges in SketchUp. We are going to add some doors to this cabinet instead of doing the math to figure out how many equally sized doors can fit across this face we'll use the divide tool. So I have my select tool activated either the space bar or this icon here will activate it. And I can right click on either the top edge here or the lower edge here to divide it. I'm going to use the lower edge, right click and choose divide. Now, when I move my cursor I can see that the divide tool is activated and there are red dots at the end point of each new segment once I choose to divide it. If I hover for a moment I can see that this one will have four segments and I can see the length of each segment. So as I move my cursor you can see what the division will be instead of having to do the math for ourselves ahead of time. I'm happy with four. So I'm going to go ahead and click and release to…
