- Chapter seven oh one Export 2D CAD as image So we've created our 3D model. Okay, this is a 3D model. And we can then used this to generate 2D images, whether they are flat-on images, using the camera set to parallel, possibly the elevation buttons, this is the views at toolbar So, we can get a nice orthographic view of the various bits and pieces. Got the top view, front view, side view, et cetera. Let's go back to my scene one. So, that would be really useful to generate the images into AutoCAD. Alternatively, we can render sort of a 3D-type view as a flat 2D image. Okay, so if you're recognizing the slight huskiness of my voice at the moment, that's a little present from my returning students. But nonetheless it should disappear in a few days.
