Fixing nonuniform scaling
- [Narrator] Now fixing the nonuniform scaling issue isn't that complicated. And in chapter 2-08 this is how we are going to do it. So, we know that these elements here are problematic. The curtains need sorting out, and there's some sort of element floating off in the distance. Let's have a look at these elements first. Now, in SketchUp, you can right click on a scale element and reset scale. Sadly, in this case, it throws it off in the distance and if we were to move it back into position then we'll realize that it is far too big. So this is not an option. So I'm just going to control z to set that back. The easiest way to sort this out is to explode these components. So, I'm selecting all of them by control clicking on each of these, and then right click and explode. Now you might have to do a few explodes based on the model, but this takes it back to it's base geometry. And then either hitting G on the keyboard or right clicking and Make Component.
