Flipping and mirroring an object
- [Instructor] To flip or mirror an object, you'll need to know which axis you'd like to flip it along. For example, if I'd like to flip this chair to mirror itself, I'm going to pre-select it. And now I'm going to right-click and choose flip along. But I need to know which axis to flip it along. So let's take a look. Right here is our red axis. So if I'd like to mirror it along the red axis, I can choose that, or the green axis. Of course, our blue axis is also an option. Let's test it out. Right-click, flip along groups red. Now it's a mirrored itself along the group's red axis. I can do the same thing by right-clicking, flip along green. Also right-click, flip along blue. I'm going to go ahead and undo that last one because obviously, that's not what we want. And I'm going to show you one more way to flip or mirror an object. We can use the scale tool.
