- [Instructor] We're now in chapter 2-04, Green Red and Yellow Boxes in Revit, and I'm using a 2017 Revit project file. If you've got an earlier version of Revit, you will have to open up your own project file, but you can still use the SketchUp files. This is also a metric template, not an imperial one. So as we get to the import options, I'll just point out some of the unit formats that you can also play around with. And I haven't done anything more than just load up a default metric template. I'm in Level 0 on the Architecture tab. I need to go to the Insert tab to get to my Import CAD or Link CAD options. Now the difference between Import CAD and Link CAD is that with the Link CAD option, whilst you get flexibility to update the CAD file and send it back into the Revit model, you don't get the option of exploding the geometry, which, for the purpose of this little exercise, I want to demonstrate to you.
