Identifying nonuniform scaling
- [Instructor] In Chapter 02-07, we're going to see how we can identify nonuniform scaling. These are rogue elements that are going to mess up your SketchUp model inside of Revit. And we're going to be using this little beach hut that I made some time ago in a day when I wasn't as rigorous with my SketchUp modeling. And so this is perfect to show what can happen when we send a model into Revit which have elements in it which are nonuniformly scaled. As far as SketchUp's concerned, it's a great way to work. But unfortunately, this doesn't come across into Revit. So let's see what happens when we import this little beach hut into Revit. So, we're in the 3D view of the corresponding Chapter 02-07 Revit file. And we're on the Insert tab, and we're going to go to Import CAD. We're going to find the Chapter 02-07 Identifying Non Uniform Scaling.
