- Having looked so far at eight out of the 14 V-ray materials now available to us, let's move forward with our overview by taking a look at the next four options, starting first of all, with the Bump material, which is essentially provided, so as to give us the ability to add Bump and normal map effects to any V-Ray for SketchUp material that we create. Now of course most of the materials that we have looked at here, already have their own Bump mapping feature available but something that we can do now, even on those materials is stack multiple Bump effects together in order to create a much more complex looking surface than would perhaps otherwise, be possible. Even more useful though is the fact that we can also add Bump maps to materials that don't natively support that feature, so the Toon material for instance, which again opens up a whole host of possibilities for us.
