- Chapter 2_04. Were going to make the parts that make up the armature hinge unit and in the next lesson, we will put it all together and put our little guidelines in as well. So to start off with we're going to just like take a little look at what we're going to make. So this is it. The Armature Hinge Unit. And we got this tube which is basically a doughnut which has been extruded. And the same profile is used for this bit as well. We just, we copy it to a different position 20 mil away and then extrude these bits and pieces. There's an order in which we will copy and extrude just to make life a little bit easier for ourselves but that's pretty much it. So afar as dimensions go we need to remember it's five mil for the large diameter and two mil for the small one. So with a circle tool go to the origin point and create your first circle. This is a two and a half mil radius. Probably a good idea to drag down on one of the axes. So I'm going on the green axis 2.5 enter and then another…
