Making groups

- [Narrator] Grouping geometry is an important part of a good SketchUp work flow. It gives geometry a protective barrier so that nothing sticks to it. For example, if I draw a cabinet over here and I try and move it, it kind of creates a sticky mess. So I really need to make sure that my geometry is grouped so that it can move independently of each other and so that I can properly organize my model. So I'm going to go ahead and undo that cabinet there, and we're going to group these walls together so that nothing stick to it. I'm going to use my select tool, and, in this case, this is all loose geometry. So I'm just going to triple-click, and that will select all of it. A single-click selects the face or an edge, a double-click selects that and whatever's touching it adjacent to it, and a triple-click, I click one, two, three, will select all of the loose geometry.
