- [Instructor] We're into Chapter Four, there's no need for a preamble to this chapter, we know exactly what we're up to. We've got to make to top arm and the lamp shade with the bulb and holder, and we're going to crack on with the top arm. First, let's flick back to that pdf and check some sizes. So here we are, with the top arm. So the way it works is it's connected at the back to the rear arm, and also to the base arms. Here we've got a grommet-type thing for cable, the cable runs down from the lamp, so it runs through here and then pops out and then joins back into there, so it gives flexibility round this hinge, and it's very simple, so we've got a three oh nine for length, so 309 mil, and we've got eight mil across, and eight mil high, and then we've got some positions here. So we've got this hole, this hole here, which sits so center of that arc, or the half-circle, and then 20 mil further on from that down the side we have got another hole.
