Model a countertop with rounded edges
- [Instructor] Because we've inserted individual dynamic component cabinets here, we need to recreate the countertop which was part of the conceptual model. Use the rectangle tool and select the Dynamic Components layer as the current layer. That way, we can have the countertop be on the same layer as these cabinets. Zoom in here and click the corner right there and the opposite corner over here. Press the space bar, click on the surface to select it, press P and then click on it and pull it up, and let's snap that to the adjacent countertop over here. Press the space bar, triple click on the object to select it all, press G to make a group. Then double click on the group to open it, and then push pull the front surface out so that it's flush with the front of the door and pull it out a second time .5 inches so that it overhands that door a bit. And then over here, let's pull this out .5 inches as well so that the countertop overhangs both surfaces. Press N to hide the rest of the…
