Model new cabinets flanking the fireplace

- [Instructor] In this video I will design new cabinets that flank the fireplace on either side. To begin this process let's save some time by copying the existing lintel and we'll use it as the top of our cabinet. So use the move tool and move this from the lower corner, and I want to make a copy so I'll press the option key on the Mac or the control key in Windows, and I will snap that right here. Next let's move it a second time up in the blue direction. So click a point to start moving. Move up in the blue direction and press the up arrow to lock in the blue direction. Then type a distance of 30 inches. So type 30 enter. Press the space bar to select. Double click on this group to open it. Press p for the push-pull tool, and push this edge over and snap it to the left side of the pilaster. Then press the space bar and click outside the group to close it. Now we will design the wooden part of the cabinet. I'm going to navigate so I can see the underside of that. And it may be…
