Move the camera view with Orbit and Pan tools

- [Instructor] Often you'll need to move throughout your model, and to work on or present from a different area. One way to change what you're seeing in your drawing area is to orbit. You can do that by clicking this icon here, or by clicking on the letter O on your keyboard. To orbit, you can click and drag on the model. If I start at the top and drag downward, you can see the roof. If I click and drag upward, I can see underneath my model. And I can view it side-to-side. So I can let go and start again. And view all the way around my model. A great way to speed up the use of the orbit tool and the most efficient way to use it is to use the center scroll wheel of our three button mouse. So I'm going to go ahead and click and hold that center scroll wheel as though it were a button, and you can see that it turns into the orbit tool. Now I can let go, and it will return back to whatever tool we were using. And this is…
