- [Instructor] Chapter 206, we are now looking at the openings. Okay, the final thing, really to give serious consideration to, because you've spent an awful lot of time making sure your shell is nice and neat and tidy. And if we didn't have to have light inside or access inside, then we wouldn't have any problems at all. However, we do need to have light and access. And so, when we cut a hole in our wall we have to take precautions that the gaps are well-sealed. And, lots of things to consider. So, first up we need to consider the position of the door or the window inside the opening. Sometimes on a thicker wall, then we get more choice. But, by moving the door further back, then we get more shading from this overhang, so that might be something you'd consider. What we also get is a bit more protection from the opening. For any driven rain that was maybe coming down this way. So it could be a good idea to set the wall…
