- [Instructor] So Chapter 4-03, we are now going to be applying the various elements to the layers that we created in the previous exercise. A few things to point out about this desk, this is the same sort of state as it would be if you downloaded from the 3D warehouse. This thing here, I've noticed, needs to be reversed, so we'll deal with that. If I click on this and then double-click we see that this one is a group that's nested within the component, and also the legs and the bracing is all together so there's a few bits we need to sort out. First of all, we'll deal with the desktop and the desk support, these are un, sort of, contained geometry. So triple-click, that will select the surface even though it's touching the support, it's not actually linked with a line. So if I drew a line between that and that, I'll just show you what I mean by that, just in case you're not familiar with Sketch-Up. And then I triple-clicked again.
