The Outliner window

- [Instructor] It can be helpful to organize your model and give everything a name. And each piece or object in your model a hierarchy. For this, it's helpful to use the Outliner. If you're on a PC you'll find the Outliner in your default tray on the right. Or if you're on a Mac, like I am, you'll need to open it. Window. Outliner. This is a list of everything in our model that is either part of a group or a component and other things like section cuts. This model doesn't section cuts. But if it did those would be listed here as well. I can click on each title in the Outliner. And see the corresponding geometry selected. For example, I've selected the rug. And now I can see that the blue bounty box around it is selected. It's blue. Chairs. Fruit bowl. Cup and so on. If I double click on the title I am now working within the group of that.
