- Chapter 306, we're now going to place our reinforcing mesh, okay, into this area, and this is where we're going to pour our slab and the mesh comes in but it doesn't sit on the bottom, it is going to act close to the bottom because it's going to be used to add a little bit of tensor strength to our slab. Concrete is very good in compression but not very good in tension, so the metal inside the concrete helps with that, extra tense on strength. And we are going to use our 1 9 3, so A193 mesh, that is, click on that and we'll bring it in. Just a load of tubes known at 90 degress to each other. So all joined up. And we are going to come down and we're going to find, under the M, mesh spacer. Okay let's import and bring this in, because the next spacer is going to lift this off the deck.
