Preparing the toposurface in SketchUp
- [Narrator] So, chapter 7-02, we're going to start by getting hold of the Toposurface. This feature is changing in SketchUp, so just check out the information on the SketchUp website to find out what changes are in place for the terrain. As far as I'm aware, only the new version, the 2017 version of SketchUp Pro will have access to the terrain mapping and the image. The Make version will have access to the snapshot but not the terrain. So, if I go up to my Add Location button, I can click on that. And then, if you just type in London Eye. And let's drag this down a little bit. The area that we're sort of concentrating on is this bend in the river Thames. And there's Waterloo Station there, we've got Horse Guard's Parade and the Mall. And the sort of area initially that we want to look at is this one here. Once we've done that, we can select on this select region. This is going to give us the opportunity to refine our location.
