- [Instructor] Our materials and model folder can sometimes get a bit crowded. Sometimes we use these materials and try them out in our model. Or we download a model from the 3D warehouse that comes in with a lot of materials supplied, delete the model. Just because we're no longer using this material, doesn't mean that it gets removed from the colors and model tray. We actually have to manually purge that every once in a while. And to do that, we're going to use this drop down menu here, and choose purge unused. And now there are only materials in this list that are actually being used currently in this model. So it's a good idea to purge those every once in a while. It helps keep your file lighter and your list, more manageable.
