Putting the armature hinge together
- In the previous exercise, Chapter 204 we made these two things. So this is the tube and this the arm and these things make up the armature hinge. Okay so either you've saved them or you're using the file from the last exercise or if you didn't make them cause you've got access to the files and you didn't want to make them then you can grab them from the lower armature folder and bring those in and then we are ready to go. So, the way these work is if we rotate this or select it first, use the move tool, and then we can rotate it through 90 degrees. So just check the bottom of the screen, bottom right hand corner to see that it reads zero and similarly with this, and we can rotate that around as well. So now they're in the right position. If we copy these bits and then right click and flip along and it was going in the red direction so red direction, flip along red, that's going to flip them in the correct orientation and then we can move this one on the axis back to that one.
