Resize an object
- Often we'll need to resize pieces within our model to fit a certain measurement. To do this we'll use the scale tool. This icon can be found here or you can tap the letter S on your keyboard as a shortcut. With the scale tool, activated click and release on the geometry that you'd like to scale. In this case, we'll resize this sofa. Once you click on it, you'll notice a yellow bounding box with green grips that will appear. If you hover over the green grips, it's going to indicate which direction you're going to rescale, if you select that grip. This sofa's a little bit tricky to see, because of the contrast, the darkness of the sofa but you can see these small threads, that are showing which direction you'd like to rescale. For this sofa, I just want to resize the width. So I'll choose this middle grip here on the side. It's going to adjust, go from this grip to this grip. Just resizing the width of…
