Setting shadows and fog
- [Instructor] Using shadows and fog in your 3D model can really enhance how the model is viewed. Before we apply the settings, I'd like to note using shadows and fog can slow down your model considerably. So only use these settings for presentation. Only alter the geometry of your model with the shadows and fog turned off. That being said, to turn on the shadows and fog, we can go to View, and check Shadows. And we can also go to View and then check Fog. Now if I'd like to adjust the way the shadows are casting or the intensity of the fog I'm going to go to open up the shadows and fog window. So for Mac users, that's under Window, Shadows. And Window, Fog. I can click and drag these boxes to stack them and minimize them as needed. PC users, you'll find these in your Default Tray on the right hand side. And if you're not seeing them in your Default Tray, you can go to Window, and make sure that they're checked under your Default Tray options. So in these settings boxes we can check…
