- [Instructor] So now it's time to slice off these corner sections and they sort of taper down to this point. And we'll be doing that by editing our mass that we created already. So select the mass, Edit In Place, and now we're going to use the surfaces of the mass inside the sketch-up model to create the work planes. So I'll just come round to sort that angle so we can see it a bit better. And the first thing is to set the work plane, and you just hover in and select it, so it should highlight the chain of lines, and then click on that, and just show to make sure that we've got it selected correctly. Then the Rectangle tool, and I'm then going to just draw sort of a rectangle over that, make sure it sort of straddles the top and the bottom, so there's a rectangular plane drawn on that. And then with the Modify button clicked, I then select this, and then I can Create Void Form. So I could create a solid form and turn into a void later, but I'll just choose Void Form straight off, and…
