Stair creation basics in Revit

- [Narrator] Now as I mentioned in the previous exercise, stair creation in Revit can be fairly straightforward. You can get quite complex stair creation. This one here is just an assembled stair. This is a sort of fire escape stair. This is one of the default families that you get with Revit. I've updated the railing. This is a separate element that hosts onto the steps or onto the run. This can also be hosted onto, as a flat surface. This type is a Posh Private, I've called it. And this in fact a sketch-based stair, versus this type which is a component-based stair. The significant difference between one and the other is that, if I select a component-based stair, and I click on edit stairs, then I get to edit sort of the individual sections.
