- [Narrator] My goal for this video is to detail this bank of cabinets here that turns the corner, and make it look more like this cabinet that we detailed in the previous video. Because this cabinet turns the corner here, I think I'll approach this process in a different way than I did before. This time I will create a profile shape that I will then proceed to sweep around the corner and thereby generate the countertops, the base cabinet, and the kick all at once. The profile information that I need is actually embedded in this cabinet already. I'll double click on this cabinet to open the group. Now if you look closely you'll see that the countertop projects in the front but it does not come out on the side. I'll press p and just pull this out an inch. I think that's a better detail. In order to get the profile here, we can use the Section Plane tool to help us. Go up to the Tools menu and choose Section Plane. Here you are prompted to give the section plane a name and a symbol…
