- [Narrator] When a project starts with a floor plan to trace over there are a few tips that can help you make the process go smoothly. First, we're going to import the floor plan by going to File Import and finding that exercise file called FloorPlan. Go ahead and select that if you can't see that file or if it's grayed out you may want to go to this drop down menu and change the format to all supported image types. If it's on SketchUp it will either look like this of you won't be able to see it at all. So again change the format, all supported image types. Select FloorPlan and we're going to make sure to use it as an image, not as a texture or a new matched photo. Go ahead and click Import and it will be attached to the cursor. So that first click and release should start at the origin point where your axes meet. Click and release and move until the upper right hand quadrant there, click and release. The size of it…
