Undo and let go - SketchUp Tutorial
From the course: SketchUp 2021 Essential Training
Undo and let go
- [Instructor] There are many times that you will need to go back and undo an action that you perform in SketchUp. The undo function is really simple. If I accidentally move this chair too far away, I can simply use edit, undo move. Or a more efficient action would be to use keyboard shortcuts. On a Mac, that's holding down the command key plus the letter Z. On a Windows machine, it's holding down control plus Z. So command or control + Z. The undo button function will undo the last complete action that you've done. So if I complete the movement of this chair, I can undo that. Again, command or control + Z. But let's say you want to let go of something mid action. Maybe I'm trying to move this coffee table and I accidentally start moving the rug, and I realize it. I'm still mid action, so the escape key is perfect for that. I'm going to tap escape, and that basically lets go of something. Again, maybe I'm moving…
