Use the axis for texture alignment
- [Instructor] Chapter 9-02, using the axis for texture alignment. There might be situations where, especially for timber, where the alignment, or the grain, of that timber isn't looking correct. And I often see situations where it's been applied, and because it's called timber and it has a grain, someone's applied it and they think, well that's good enough even though it's going in the wrong direction. And you need to make sure that all the elements look as convincing as possible. So the grain and the, sort of, pattens of the timber all work according to how you would expect them to work. Okay so in this little exercise, I'm going to show you how you can do that without having to, sort of, edit the material, turn it through 90 degrees and then reapply it. There's no feature in SketchUp, okay, for doing that. If I went to, say this earth texture, which is selected, and then clicked on edit, these are the in model ones. You…
