- [Instructor] In this particular exercise, we're going to be taking a look at using the last of V-Ray's GI engine options, this being Brute Force. And so, let's jump into the Asset Editor and make sure that Brute Force is set in the primary slot, and of course, in order to follow the pattern of our previous exercises, also make sure that the secondary bounce engine is set to None, at least for now. Now, something that I would typically tells students at this point, is the fact that, certainly in years past, very few experienced V-Ray users would willingly choose to use the Brute Force engine on an interior render such as this, simply because of the speed versus quality issues that oftentimes arise, although this is a situation that is rapidly changing as hardware speeds, particularly in the form of GPU rendering, and software architectures, continue to improve.
