Using fixed and movable pins on textures
- [Instructor] Let's turn our attention to texture mapping this porch area. I'm going to double click on the group to open it, And select this surface, go to Photo1, and click this button. Then I'll orbit and you can see that that texture has been applied. I'd like to get this texture to appear on the other side as well. So to do that I'll double click, select this object, go to Photo1, and project the textures from the photo. Now this doesn't look good at this point because we're looking at a variety of plants and rocks and ferns and so on over here. So as I said, I want to get this texture, which is rather orderly stone work, to appear on this surface as well. To accomplish that I'm going to right click on this surface, under Texture and choose Position. There are two different ways that you can move textures in SketchUp, and this is one of the modes. I'll right click and switch over to the Fixed Pins mode, if it's not already selected, and this changes the pins to these colorful…
