- [Instructor] The next light type that we come across on the Lights toolbar is the sphere light, which, to be honest, having looked at the controls for the rectangle light we already know how to use, although that shouldn't stop us taking a quick look at the control that are available here. To do that, we will need to add a sphere light to the scene, of course, and so let's come to the Lights toolbar, click the Sphere option, and then with the first left-click in the view port, set the sphere's location in 3D space, and then with the second, fix its size, which is important given that the sphere light, like its rectangular counterpart, is a genuine area light, meaning that the look of both illumination and shadows in the scene will be affected by the light size.
