Walkthroughs in software

- If you want a more dynamic view of your concepts, you can start to do walk throughs. Now there are a number of different ways to do this. You can do it directly in software, you can create a video walk through, or you can bring your project into a game engine and add interactivity as well as virtual reality. We're going to start simple by using some of SketchUp's native tools. Now the tools I want to use are in the camera menu. They're called position camera, walk and look around. You can also find them in the large menu set here. So I'm going to select position camera, and just position my camera here somewhere on that front lawn. And when I do that it automatically changes my icon to look around, so I can now just move my mouse by left clicking and dragging and I can look at the structure as if I were in the front yard. Now if I want to reposition that camera, I can select the walk tool and again left click and drag and I can reposition that camera and then I can continue to look…
