- [Instructor] Chapter six, and we're going to deal with the roof, and this is six o one. so wall plate and cut rafters. Now, the wall plate, this thing here, not that one, this one, is already in. This is not the header stud and then we got the wall plate on top. And these can be strapped on, so you got some anchor straps coming, about a meter and a half, down this face. So that would hold it then into position. And then the rafters are going to sort of verge big their way over this. And again you can strap those into places as well. We will be putting OSB on the underside, and on the topside, so that should give us sufficient stiffness. Also you can put natural bracing, in these things as well. So plenty of options to look at, for holding the roof on. Usually, stopping the roof from blowing off, is the bigger problem, rather than worrying about the load of the roof breaking or crushing the walls. So the always…
