- [Instructor] So what do you need to know before you tackle this course? Well, this is part three of a three part series SketchUp for architecture. So part one focused on using SketchUp. Part two focused on using LayOut. And part three is focusing on the world of architectural details. And to do that, we're going to use SketchUp and LayOut. Now all the bits and pieces have already been made. So there's no making stuff in SketchUp, it's just putting stuff together. There's a little bit of array to do with the blocks but nothing really major. The most important thing you'll need is a desire to understand how construction details go together and the principles and thought processes behind them. So if you're curious and you want to develop your skills at architectural detailing further, then this should be the perfect course for you. If you're also interested in visualizing architectural details or generating 2D from the 3D then this should also be massively useful. All I'm trying to do in this series is shed some light on the mysteries surrounding the architectural detail. And hopefully by the end of it, you'll be a little bit more enlightened than you were at the beginning.
