The asset editor
- [Instructor] The V-Ray Asset Editor is a place where we can not only create, load and save render settings but assets as well, with the list of tweakable options including materials, textures, geometry, lights and more. Besides being V-Ray Next for SketchUp's asset management center though, the asset editor is also the hub from which we will control almost every aspect of our V-Ray renders. So we can choose the type of render engine that we want to work with, we can alter camera settings, optimize the rendering process and also perform distributed rendering using either the built in swarm agent or the external chaos cloud service. To make both the editor and scene assets easy to work with, all of the controls are grouped into tabbed categories that can be found across the top of the central panel.
