A closer look at the exposure controls

- [Narrator] In the real world, photographers use exposure at its most basic to control brightness levels in the images that they're shooting, hopefully creating images that at the very least look technically correct. Going beyond that though, a photographer will also use exposure to help elicit an emotional response from anyone viewing the image. And although we will here we are looking at the technical side of the exposure controls in V-Ray. It is good to keep in mind that the same controls can also be used to help shape the final feel of a rendered image as well. Now, back in chapter two of this course, we looked at how the sun daylight system in V-Ray can be used to create a physically accurate daylight simulation given that it has been designed to create the same level of illumination, the same energy output as the real world sun and sky.
