An introduction to working with materials
- [Instructor] Chapter five is all about materials. So where we can find the textures to generate our materials, how do we create materials in SketchUp, how can we apply them to different surfaces, and adjust them when they are applied, and also where we can save them, and how we can share them with our colleagues. Now what we're looking at here is the completed model. We've got some landscaping and some planting, and inside, we've got a load of furniture and some ornamentation. And whilst this is an improvement on what we've created, which is turn, is a vast improvement on a 2D CAD drawing, then we still lack the information regarding the materials. If I flick over to this scene, which is the external texture scene, so this is a scene with a texture style applied to it, and a background image.
