The shade holder profiles

- Chapter 403, we're going to make the Shade Holder profiles. If you've already got access to the exercise files, and you don't want to do it in steps, then that's fine. Otherwise, follow along. There are two profiles to make, and we'll check the PDF for some dimensions. So, here it is, it's going to create this thing, which then attaches to the Shade. So, we've got some slots we'll do in the next lesson. The first thing we need to look at is this profile here, and this profile here. So, we're looking at a half circle of 36 radius, and then we got these arms, which can extend down, and we're offsetting outwards one mil. And then, the other piece is sort of a six by 67, with a rounding on the end, and then we'll just stretch these out one mil either side, and that will create Shade profile two. So it shouldn't take us too long to do that. Back to SketchUp, and we can make a start. Okay, so, Circle tool first, and we'll click on the origin point and track along one of the axes. Make…
