- [Presenter] Chapter 3 02, we're going to make this small spring connection. be using for the large spring as well. And just flick over to the PDF to check on a few things. So here it is, it's this top bit of the spring. And it starts off as a six mil circle and then we put some guidelines in at certain positions. The key bits with this, so if you have to bare in mind the number of sides that we create certain circles has to be a six sided arc or a 12 sided circle. And for this bit we make sure that the arc has got six sides as well so it all seems to tie up. I've tried different sizes and sides Okay so, this is what we'll be doing. So let's go back to Sketch Up and carry on. Okay so, have circle tool and then make sure it says sides equal 24 down in the bottom right corner. Click at the origin point and track along one of these axis, so I'll chose the red axis. And it's three, enter. So it's a six diameter circle, six mil diameter circle.
