A word about HDRIs

- [Instructor] In most rendering workflows these days, the use of high dynamic range images for environment lighting and scene reflections has become pretty much universal, and so in our V-Ray Next for SketchUp training course, we are making use of high dynamic range images downloaded mostly from the excellent HDRIHaven.com website, which releases its content under a Creative Commons CC0 license, meaning that the person who created the work has dedicated to the public domain, waiving all of his or her rights to it worldwide under copyright law. The end result of this being that we can copy, modify, distribute, and even perform work for commercial purposes using these assets without the need to ask for any kind of permissions, hence the inclusion in the exercise files download of a number of spherical HDRI files that can be used in a variety of situations.
